 The Feeding Family

Welcome to the Family!

Chances are, you're not here by accident.

My name is Lisa K. Trimmer, and I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, IL specializing in oral aversion and feeding skill delays or disorders. In my clinical practice I have met all types of families at all stages of the journey through feeding difficulties. One thing that they have in common is a desire for more information.

That's why I started this website. I hope it will be a resource for you and other families who are struggling with mealtimes. Whether you care for a child with complex medical needs or are simply concerned that your child is a "picky eater", I hope that you will find new ideas and resources as well as support from others who are experiencing similar situations.
